I built a new L shaped sofa and coffee table this past weekend and I am so excited about it! I found the plans for the sofa and coffee table on GoodDIYplans.com and I knew I could build it with some help from my husband. The sofa cushions were purchased at Home Depot and are 24in x 24in base cushions. The coffee table was easy to build following the plans and it turned out great. We have already hosted an event in the back yard and the additional seating has been a huge hit! Our guests have been very impressed with our new furniture and we are so happy we decided to build it.
I chose green cushions for the sofa because I wanted to add a pop of color to the furniture. I think the green looks great with the wood of the sofa and coffee table. It makes the furniture stand out and it looks very inviting. The green cushions are also very comfortable and I know my guests will enjoy sitting on them.
